Doris Mae Bastion - age 90, formerly of Gray Birch Drive in Augusta, ME, died Nov. 1, 2018 at Heritage Rehab & Living Center after an extended illness.
She was born in Pittsfield, Mass. on May 19, 1928 the daughter of Albert H. Eastwood and Clara M. (McKeon) Eastwood.
Doris was educated in Pittsfield, Mass. schools.
She was a homemaker in her own home for most of her life.
She was predeceased by her parents, and by her husband Arthur F. Bastion, who she married on March 27, 1948 and he passed on Nov. 22, 2000.
Surviving are three sons: Kenneth A. Bastion of Summerfield, NC, Bruce H. Bastion of Palm Bay, FL and Glenn E. Bastion of Warren, MA; two granddaughters and three great-grandchildren.
There are no public visiting hours scheduled. Private funeral services and burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to the Kennebec Valley Humane Society, 10 Pet Haven Lane, Augusta, ME 04330. Arrangements have been entrusted to Plummer Funeral Home, 16 Pleasant St., Augusta, ME.
