SPRUCE HEAD, MAINE
Marlene A. Crosby - age 77, of Granite Lane, died Oct. 17, 2018 at her home. Marlene was born in Washington, Maine on May 30, 1941, the daughter of Donald Anderson and Marion (Hibbert) Anderson.
Marlene attended Erskine Academy and graduated from Casco Bay College with an Associate Degree. She was employed by the State of Maine Bureau of Health and retired after 20 years. Marlene enjoyed attending the Saturday night dances with friends, and spending time with her family.
Marlene is predeceased by her parents; siblings Sharon Thibeau, Donald Anderson, Jr., and David Anderson; and daughter-in-law, Valerie Crosby.
Survivors include by her longtime companion, Charles Oliver of Spruce Head, ME; a son, Dean Crosby and his children Brody, Chloe and Bria of Winslow ME; a daughter, Justine Crosby and her children, Emily, Zachary and Meagan of Hampden, ME; and a brother, Jerry Anderson of Waldoboro, ME.
Visiting hours are 2-4 pm Sunday October 21st at Plummer Funeral Home, 983 Ridge Road, Rte. 32, Windsor, Maine. Funeral services will be held at Plummer Funeral Home on Monday Oct. 22nd at 2:00pm. Burial will follow at Sand Hill Cemetery, Somerville, Maine.
