AUGUSTA, MAINE
Louisette J. Bilodeau - age 81, of Augusta, died September 20, 2018 at her home after a brief illness. She was born in St. Evariste, Canada on April 22, 1937 the daughter of Leo Fortin and Gracia (Fortier) Fortin.
Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Bilodeau was employed by Health Tex of Gardiner for 22 years.
She was a member of St. Michael Parish at St. Augustine Catholic Church, and a member of Cushnoc Senior Citizens.
Her husband, Marcel Andre Bilodeau, died on Jan. 11, 2010.
Surviving are two sons: Michael P. Bilodeau and his wife Muriel of Windsor, ME and Pierre Bilodeau and his wife Nichole of West Gardiner, ME; one brother, Jean-Paul Fortin and his wife Rita of Augusta, ME; one sister, Mariette Roy and her husband Henry of Augusta, ME; three grandchildren: Tammy Tyler and her husband Erik, Tracy Matson and her husband Forrest III, and Thomas Bilodeau; four great-grandchildren: Forrest Matson IV, Teaira Matson, Lauren Tyler and Vanessa Tyler; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may visit from 2-5 PM Sunday Sept. 23rd at Plummer Funeral Home, 16 Pleasant St., Augusta. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 AM Monday Sept. 24th at St. Augustine Catholic Church, Augusta, ME. Burial will follow in Holy Family Cemetery, Augusta, ME.
The family wishes to extend special thanks to the Alfond Center for Cancer Care, Androscoggin Home Care & Hospice, Dr. Laura Caron and Monica White Trask for their exceptional care of Mrs. Bilodeau. We would also like to extend our thanks to the family and friends for your help and support during our time of need. We would like to thank Muriel Bilodeau for taking exceptional care of Louisette from the onset of her illness to the end.
